Getting your product reviewed these days is no easy feat. With so many businesses and so many bloggers competing for content, it's harder than you might imagine to find your goods in front of the right influencer's audience. To go a step further, having your product reviewed sans-sponsorship, by one of your favorite (not to mention one of the industry's leading influencers) is nigh on impossible. It is for that reason, that we are so very honored to have Ryan Sprance, the Creator and Editor In Chief of The Stylish Man review our products. His gorgeous new site is a virtual temple to all things for the stylish man, covering topics such as style and fashion, fitness, grooming, and the delightfully non-specific category "guy stuff". Please enjoy his review of our hangers, and then visit his site to get even more stylish, on-trend and inspiring news, the way only The Stylish Man can do it.
Want Your Suits To Last? Up Your Game With These Hangers
"When we look at different brands and companies, we look for one thing – quality over quantity. This is the one thing that makes the difference. So many corporations look to increase profits by making their production process as cheap as possible. Trying to be efficient doesn’t bother us, but finding that what used to be a quality product now has a cheap feeling about it – lighter, flimsy, and fragile – is what really bothers us.
We came across Butler Luxury, in our search for the finest hangers available. We were intrigued enough to order a couple to try out – a Deep Butterscotch Tailor Made Coat Hanger and a Dark Walnut Espresso Tailor Made Custom Suit Hanger. The difference between the two, aside from the color, is that the Custom Suit Hanger has the two velvet wrapped hanging trouser bars.
Our first impression upon seeing them in person was that I had no idea hangers could be aesthetically pleasing. The wood grain was absolutely beautiful and there was no doubt I was holding a solid piece of wood – it was the same type of craftsmanship that one could expect to find in high end furniture. Both the Deep Butterscotch and the Dark Walnut Espresso colors looked absolutely gorgeous. From a preference point of view, we enjoy the look of the Deep Butterscotch a little bit more – the lighter wood grain color really pops with the brass metal. Of course, the Dark Walnut ended up more appealing when paired with some of the darker colors of my wardrobe.
For comparison, I matched these hangers up against ones that came with my custom suits. All of them were similar in their solid wood design – though all other hangers we looked at were lighter; possibly from using a wood of lesser density. We are not particularly fond of how thin the limbs are, either. The hangers from our tailors didn’t stand a chance of competing. While they aren’t cheap hangers, the shoulders could have been thicker. Overall, the Butler Luxury hangers had the best fit and stood the best chance of extending the life of each suit.
We were not at all that surprised by the results – it’s hard to compete with someone who has a lifetime of experience in this particular industry as well as the best values in heart. I’ve since looked to replaced all of my hangers with Butler Luxury."
Is your closet full of cheap plastic hangers and those free wire hangers that you only get from the dry cleaners? Does that special someone in your life treat their wardrobe as an investment, and you don’t know what to get them for Christmas?
